The Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer the highest strength-to-weight ratio available, achieved through composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. Their precision design includes the optimal number of ball bearings for minimal friction, with weight reduction achieved through fibre-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the world's lightest for their working load, as heavy steel components have been replaced with high-tech polymers and fibre equivalents. The multi-sheave blocks feature single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light head arrangement, minimizing weight and bulk. The Ronstan 2-stage bearing system, with high compression grade Acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing, ensures minimal friction across the working load range.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies up to 5m, as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats of the same size. They are also suitable for control line applications on larger yachts.
