The Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer the highest strength-to-weight ratio available, achieved through composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. Their precision design ensures an optimal number of ball bearings for minimal friction, while weight reduction is accomplished using fibre-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the world's lightest in terms of working load. By eliminating heavy steel components, Ronstan has replaced nearly all metal parts with high-tech polymers and fibre equivalents. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, resulting in the lowest possible weight. Multi-sheave blocks have a single intermediate cheek and an ultra-light head arrangement. Unlike other brands, Ronstan avoids unnecessary weight and bulk.

The Ronstan 2-stage bearing system, used in Series 30 and larger, includes high compression grade Acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing, ensuring minimal friction across the working load range.
