The Ronstan Series 30 Ball Bearing Orbit Block™ offers the highest strength-to-weight ratio available. This is achieved through the use of all-composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. The precision design ensures the optimal number of ball bearings for minimal friction, while weight reduction is achieved with fibre-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the world's lightest for their working load, thanks to the elimination of heavy steel components. The ball bearing system provides consistent performance across the full working load range. The SP versions feature a Nylatron® sheave suitable for both rope and wire.

Material composition includes a high compression strength carbon black Acetal sheave, high compression strength Acetal ball bearings, toughened glass fibre reinforced Nylon frame and cheeks, and a UV stabilized, multi-strand impregnated SK75 Dyneema® link.
