The Ronstan Series 40 Ball Bearing Orbit Block™ with Auto Ratchet and Dyneema® Link Head (RF46101) features an automatic ratchet mechanism that engages under load and disengages when released. This allows for smooth and rapid easing of sheets, ideal for gybing asymmetric spinnakers. The ratchet block offers up to 14:1 holding power, thanks to its sophisticated NC-machined sheave with Generation 2 patented cross-hole geometry. The unique sheave design includes 8 gripping faces that resist loaded line movement, distributing the load and minimizing rope wear.

The Dyneema® Link provides a simple and secure attachment, retained by a molded retainer clip. It's compatible with Dyneema® strops, webbing, and carbon connection points. This block is perfect for dinghy mainsheet systems, mainsheet fine-tune systems on sportsboats, and control line applications on larger yachts.
