The Core Blocks™ offer a versatile solution for various sailing needs. Featuring a tuned 2-stage bearing system, these blocks deliver excellent performance across the full working load range. The integrated thrust bearing feature ensures resilience under high dynamic or static loads. The block is equipped with an Acetal sheave, alloy cheeks, and stainless steel fixings for durability. Ideal for sheets, halyards, and control line applications in both cruising and racing, these blocks promise reliability and a long service life.

The Ronstan Universal Bearing system incorporates a proven 2-stage bearing design. In Stage 1, Acetal ball bearings minimize friction under moderate loads. In Stage 2, a sliding Acetal bearing on a polished stainless steel race maintains low friction under heavy loads. The ball bearings also function as a thrust bearing, preventing the sheave from rubbing against the cheeks, which is crucial for cheek blocks.

The alloy cheek plates are crafted from high-quality alloy for maximum strength. The design minimizes weight and allows easy rinsing of salt and debris from the bearings. The cheek design is further enhanced with flaring.

Additional features include class-leading performance, sleek styling, and less than half the friction of the nearest competitor. The head offers full 3-axis articulation and can be locked at 0 or 90 degrees using a 2.5mm Hex Key. The becket pin is removable for fitting pre-spliced lines.
