The Ronstan Series 30 Ball Bearing Orbit Block™ offers the highest strength-to-weight ratio available, achieved through composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. Its precision design ensures optimal ball bearing count for minimal friction, while weight is reduced using fiber-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the lightest in the world for their working load, having eliminated heavy steel components in favor of high-tech polymers and fiber equivalents. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, minimizing weight. Multi-sheave blocks have single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light head arrangement. The Ronstan 2-stage bearing system, with high compression grade Acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing, ensures minimal friction across the full working load range.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies up to 5m (16ft), as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats up to 5m (16ft). It is also suitable for control line applications on larger yachts.
