Description

The Ronstan Series 55 Orbit Block™ with Double Link Head is designed to be lightweight and efficient. The unique orbital design allows the bearing to be active only in the necessary areas of the floating sheave, minimizing the mass of inactive components. The block's configuration further reduces weight and bulk. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, ensuring the lowest possible weight. Multi-sheave blocks have single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light head arrangement, offering a 30% weight saving compared to competitors. The orbital ball-bearing system maximizes load performance with the largest possible bearing race diameter, supported by a fibre-reinforced load frame. The Dyneema® Link, made from FSE Robline SK75 fibre, is ten times stronger and lighter than steel, providing a secure connection from the block.

Features include an ultra-lightweight design, a low friction 2-stage orbital ball bearing system, and the highest working load in its class. The block is low profile and compact, with high-performance cleating and a Dyneema® Link head that is easily fitted and securely retained. Single inner cheeks ensure minimum weight and compactness.
