The Core Blocks™ are a versatile solution for various sailing needs. They feature a tuned 2-stage bearing system that ensures excellent performance across the full working load range. The integrated thrust bearing feature and resilience allow them to handle high dynamic or static loads. The block is equipped with an Acetal sheave, alloy cheeks, and stainless steel fixings, making it a durable choice for sheets, halyards, and control line applications in both cruising and racing. The Ronstan Universal Bearing incorporates a proven 2-stage bearing system. Under moderate loads, Acetal ball bearings minimize friction, while under heavy loads, a sliding Acetal bearing on a polished stainless steel race maintains low friction performance. The ball bearings also act as a thrust bearing, preventing the sheave from rubbing on the cheeks. The alloy cheek plates are made from high-quality alloy for maximum strength, with a design that minimizes weight and allows easy rinsing of salt and debris.

Features include class-leading performance and sleek, contemporary styling, excellent dynamic and static load performance, and less than half the friction of the nearest competitor. The becket pin is removable for fitting pre-spliced lines. Note that the line load through the cleat should not exceed 175kg (385lb).
