Talamex, anchor line braided polyester, 12 mm x 40 m

Description

Braided anchor line from Talamex made of polyester with stainless steel thimble. The polyester line is ideal as an anchor line because it sinks, is wear-resistant, and has enough elasticity to absorb forces from waves during anchoring.

• The required length of the anchor line is determined by the water depth and the prevailing wind strength. As a rule of thumb, approximately 5 times the water depth is used as the length for the anchor line. In light winds, less line may be sufficient, while in strong winds (wind force 5 and above), the length can increase to 7 times the water depth.
• The diameter of the line is determined by the boat's length and weight. Polyester braided 12 mm: suitable for boats up to approximately 8 m with a weight up to 4000 kg.
