The Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer the highest strength-to-weight ratio available, achieved through composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. The precision design provides the optimal number of ball bearings for minimal friction, while weight reduction is achieved using fibre-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the world's lightest for their working load, as heavy steel components have been replaced with high-tech polymers and fibre equivalents. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, ensuring the lowest weight possible. The Ronstan 2-stage bearing system, with high compression grade Acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing, ensures minimal friction across the full working load range.
