The Ronstan Series 30 Ball Bearing Orbit Block™ offers the highest strength-to-weight ratio available. This is achieved through the use of all-composite reinforced polymer materials and multiple attachment options. The precision design ensures an optimal number of ball bearings for minimal friction, while weight reduction is achieved through fibre-reinforced composites in the block head, cleat arms, and beckets. These blocks are the lightest in the world for their working load. By eliminating heavy steel components, such as load straps and shackles, and replacing them with high-tech polymers and fibre equivalents, we have minimized weight and bulk. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, resulting in the lowest possible weight. Multi-sheave blocks have single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light head arrangement. Unlike other brands that add unnecessary weight, Ronstan Orbit Blocks™ are designed for efficiency.

These blocks feature the highest working load in their class, thanks to the proven Ronstan 2-stage bearing system, which includes high compression grade Acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing. This ensures minimal friction across the full working load range.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies up to 5m (16ft), as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats up to 5m (16ft). They are also suitable for control line applications on larger yachts.
