Description

The Ronstan Series 40 Ball Bearing Orbit Block™ offers both automatic and manual ratchet options, allowing you to customize your setup to your preferences. With automatic models, the ratchet engages under load and disengages when released, providing smooth and free sheet movement, ideal for rapid easing and gybing asymmetric spinnakers. Manual models allow for on-demand ratchet engagement, preferred by many top sailors for mainsheet setups.

Ronstan's Ratchet Orbit blocks™ boast the highest holding power available, with the Series 40 offering up to 14:1 holding power. The NC-machined sheave features a unique design with eight gripping faces, ensuring direct resistance to loaded line movement and minimizing rope wear.

The Dyneema® Link is easily fitted and securely retained by a molded retainer clip, providing a simple and secure attachment.

Applications include dinghy mainsheet systems, fine-tune systems on sportsboats and small keel boats, and control line applications on larger yachts. The block is constructed with an anodised aluminium sheave, high compression strength carbon black Acetal ball bearings, toughened glass fibre reinforced nylon frame, and a UV-stabilised SK75 Dyneema® rope link.
