The Series 40 Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer an optimal balance of strength, performance, and reliability. These blocks feature class-leading dynamic and static load ratings, making them the highest available in their size category. The lightweight and strong cheeks are made from toughened glass fibre reinforced nylon, replacing traditional stainless steel straps for enhanced performance and reliability.

The range includes traditional single swivel blocks, as well as single and double sheave lashing or soft attachment options, extending to multiple sheave blocks with quad and quin sheaves. This versatility allows for a multitude of systems, including a 12:1 purchase mainsheet system for off-the-beach performance catamarans.

Equipped with a carbon reinforced C-Cleat™, these blocks ensure secure rope holding with minimal entry and exit efforts, complemented by fairleads for quick action from any angle. The stainless steel cleat arms are adjustable, allowing you to set your preferred cleating angle.

The ball bearing versions incorporate a 2-stage bearing system that minimizes friction using ball bearings and maintains low friction across the full working load range with a secondary full-contact bearing.

High Load versions are specifically designed for applications expecting high dynamic or static loads, featuring a high strength grade 2205 stainless steel sheave and hub.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies, off-the-beach catamarans, and sportsboats up to 8m (26ft), as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats up to 8m (26ft), and control line applications on larger yachts.
