The new Series 40 Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer an ideal combination of strength, performance, and reliability. These blocks provide class-leading dynamic and static load ratings, the highest in this size category of performance blocks. The lightweight and robust design features toughened glass fibre reinforced nylon cheeks, replacing traditional stainless steel straps, ensuring a perfect balance of performance and reliability.

The range includes not only traditional single swivel blocks but also single and double sheave lashing or soft attachment options, extending to multiple sheave blocks, including quad and quin sheaves. This versatility allows for a multitude of system configurations, such as a 12:1 purchase mainsheet system for off-the-beach performance catamarans.

Series 40 Orbit Blocks™ are equipped with our carbon reinforced C-Cleat™ for secure rope holding with minimal entry and exit effort, and fairleads for quick action from any angle. The stainless steel cleat arms are adjustable to your preferred cleating angle.

The ball bearing versions feature a 2-stage bearing system that minimizes friction using ball bearings, complemented by a secondary full-contact bearing to maintain low friction across the full working load range. High Load versions are specifically designed for applications expecting high dynamic or static loads, featuring a high strength grade 2205 stainless steel sheave and hub.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies, off-the-beach catamarans, and sportsboats up to 8m (26ft), as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats up to 8m (26ft), and control line applications on larger yachts.
