The new Series 40 ball bearing Orbit Blocks™ offer an ideal combination of strength, performance, and reliability. They boast class-leading dynamic and static load ratings, the highest available in this size of performance blocks. The lightweight and robust toughened glass fibre reinforced nylon cheeks replace the traditional stainless steel straps, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The range includes single and double sheave lashing or soft attachment options, as well as multiple sheave blocks, including quad and quin sheaves. This versatility allows for a multitude of systems, including a 12:1 purchase mainsheet system for off-the-beach performance catamarans.

Series 40 Orbit Blocks™ come equipped with a carbon reinforced C-Cleat™ for secure rope holding with minimal entry and exit effort, and fairleads for quick action from any angle. The stainless steel cleat arms are adjustable to your preferred cleating angle.

The ball bearing versions feature a 2-stage bearing system, using ball bearings to minimize friction and a secondary full-contact bearing to maintain low friction across the full working load range. High Load versions are designed for applications with high dynamic or static loads, featuring a high strength grade 2205 stainless steel sheave and hub.

Applications include mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies, off-the-beach catamarans, and sportsboats up to 8m (26ft), as well as halyard, vang, and backstay applications on boats up to 8m (26ft), and control line applications on larger yachts.
